About All Star

Eighteen years of Wichita yards.

Nolan started All Star in 2007. One truck, one mower, one section of south Wichita to take care of. The shop is at 1442 S Sabin now, but the way it runs is the same as the first year — Nolan answers the phone, Nolan walks the property, Nolan stands behind the work.

Wichita sits in the Bermuda transition zone — Kentucky bluegrass on the north side, tall fescue and zoysia mixed in, Bermuda on the sunny south-facing lots. The yard calendar is non-negotiable here: pre-emergent in March, broadleaf control through May and June, deep watering through July's heat, fall aeration mid-September, late-season fert in November.

We do it for residential lawns and we do it for commercial grounds. Same mowers, same blades, same finish.

I love what I do and take great passion in my work.

How a new property gets on the schedule

Five steps, no surprises.

  1. 01

    Phone call

Tell us the address and what you've got — yard or property. Five minutes is enough.

  2. 02

    Walkthrough

Nolan comes out. Looks at grass type, soil, sun, drainage, what's been done before.

  3. 03

    Written plan

Clear scope, clear price. Mowing rotation, fertilization calendar, anything design-side called out separately.

  4. 04

    On the schedule

Most residential rotations start within a week. Commercial onboarding handled property manager to property manager.

  5. 05

    Standing standard

Same crew. Same blades. Same finish. If something's off, you call, we come back.

That’s it. No portals, no logins — a phone call or an email is all it takes.
